The OCTO Self-Certification Tool is now available in beta for members and officially launched at Arival 360 | DC on September 30th. Whether you're a supplier or a reseller, you can validate your OCTO implementation, identify issues early, and earn a public certificate that signals readiness to connect.

Get started at certify.octo.travel.

What It Does

Suppliers

Validate your OCTO API

Enter your Host URL and API key. The tool runs automated tests against your live implementation to verify it follows the OCTO standard.

Resellers

Certify against a mock endpoint

Call the issued mock OCTO endpoint with your unique token. The tool verifies that your integration correctly consumes the OCTO API.

Everyone

Earn a public certificate

Receive a detailed certificate page and an embeddable OCTO Certified badge you can display on your website, marketing materials, or partner pages.

How to Certify

  1. Log in with your OCTO / Outseta account at certify.octo.travel.
  2. Create a certificate — choose Supplier or Reseller.
  3. Enter your API details. Suppliers provide a Host URL and API key. Resellers use the issued mock endpoint and token.
  4. Run automated tests. You can also schedule recurring runs to catch regressions over time.
  5. Achieve 100% pass to be marked Valid and listed in the public certification directory.

Why It Matters

Certification builds trust across the OCTO ecosystem. It ensures your implementation follows the open standard, helps you identify issues before they affect live bookings, and gives partners confidence that you're ready to connect.

The public badge makes your certification visible wherever it counts — on your website, in sales conversations, or in partner directories. It's a simple signal that says: we've done the work, and it's been verified.
